Africa is somewhere our hearts hold dear. This summer August 2010 Dorothy and Gwen are heading to Uganda for two weeks with Abaana. Whilst there we will be taking part in many different activities from kitting out and painting newly built Lweeza Primary and Mpata Nursery in the remote and rural Mukono district, to working with the Street Children on the streets of Kampala (capital city of Uganda) and New Life orphanage, Abaana's home for former street children. - Shocked by the conditions which Street Children live hopefully we can do a little bit for them, we are all guilty of looking after number one and forgetting there are kids out there that don't have food in their bellies or shelter, support and love.
Please sponsor whatever you can, even if it's just a few quid, it will really be appreciated as it will all add up and make a big difference, a few pounds can go a long way for these kids and projects ......
